Mary Lloyd Crain, 97, of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at the Pioneer Trace Nursing Home in Flemingsburg.
She was born February 19, 1925 in Hillsboro, Kentucky, to the late Lloyd Vice and Frances Hurst Vice.
Mary was a member of the Flemingsburg Christian Church, a member of the Flemingsburg Homemakers Club and Christian Women's Fellowship. She also taught Sunday school and was a substitute school teacher.
She was a Christian lady, a loving wife, mother and caregiver.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alvis Wendell Crain, one son, Gerald Crain and two brothers, Wendell Vice and Neolin Vice.
Survivors include one daughter, Carol Crain Waller and husband, David of Ironton Ohio, two sisters, Bernita Porter of Flemingsburg and Loretta Justice of Frankfort, Kentucky and three grandchildren, Michael Waller (Teresa), Betsy Keller (Jason) and Emily Anderson (Dwayne), along with several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Services will be conducted 2:00 P.M Friday, November 4, 2022 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Flemingsburg with Pastor Robbie Shrout officiating.
Burial will follow in the Fleming County Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 12:00 P.M until the hour of service.
Casket bearers will be Wyatt Keller, Norm Harn, Johnny Saunders, Dwayne Anderson, Jason Keller, Justin Anderson and Blake Waller.
