Wilma Jones

Wilma Vice Jones, age 85, of Flemingsburg, passed away Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Fleming County Hospital with family by her side. She was born on April 11, 1933 in Fleming County, the daughter of the late Robert and Rosie Hysong Vice. Wilma was an avid worker at Fleming County Animal Hospital for many years and a member of Wallingford United Methodist Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Jones; and her brother, James Vice. She is survived by: her loving nieces and nephews, Kathy (Mike) Russell of Maysville, Jim (Brenda) Vice of Flemingsburg, Jerry Vice of Fleming County, and Marilyn Lee of Fleming County; great-nieces and nephews, Bryan (Mindy) Vice of Richmond, Michele Russell of Maysville, Anita (Jerry) Foister of Maysville, Jennifer Vice of Maysville, Donna (Patrick) Jones of Georgetown, and Jamie Lee of Wisconsin; great-great nieces and nephews, Bella and Jaxon Vice of Richmond, Bethany (Mike) Williams of Maysville, Garrett Foister of Maysville, Kalyn Gallagher of Maysville; and great-great-great-niece, Mackenzie Brooke Williams. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Monday, December 17, 2018 in the chapel of Carpenter-Fritz & Vice Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Cindy Baker. Visitation will be 11am-1pm Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Longview Cemetery in Bethel. Pallbearers will be Mike Russell, Bryan Vice, Norman Smoot, Clell Vice, Mike Wagoner, and Vernon Overley. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Vice, Jerry Foister, Larry Hinton, Charles Stanley Cooper, and Garrett Foister. Memorials are suggested to the Wallingford United Methodist Church, P.O.
