Phyllis Jean Shields, 70 of Winchester, Kentucky passed away Monday, June 3, 2024, at Fountain Circle Care and Rehabilitation Center in Winchester where she had made her home for the last several years.
She was born February 20, 1954, in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky to the late Albert and Ida Frances Bashford Shields.
Phyllis enjoyed time with her family and friends and also enjoyed watching television and doing crafts.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother Bobby Shields, and one nephew Rodney Shields.
Survivors include her sister, Alice Shields of Winchester. One nephew, Rob Shields, great nieces and nephews, Shana Shields and Robby Shields (children of Rob Shields) and also Kaegan Shields (child of the late Rodney Shields). Also, other family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Thursday, June 6, 2024, in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Flemingsburg with Brother James Ray Hickerson officiating.
Phyllis will be laid to rest in the family plot in the Longview Cemetery at Bethel, Kentucky.
Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Flemingsburg is after 12 noon Thursday until the hour of the service.
Family members will serve as pall bearers.
