Patsy Ann Jackson, 69, of Pioneer Trace Nursing Home in Flemingsburg, passed away Friday, November 7, 2014 at the nursing home. Born June 13, 1945 in Fleming County, she was a daughter of the late Thomas W. and Hazel Beatrice Gardner Jackson.
Loved by all, Patsy had a big heart and never met a stranger. She attended the church services at the nursing home and she loved little children and always had a baby doll in her arms. Patsy was loved by her family and will be truly missed. She was a Blessing to her family.
She is survived by: nine siblings, Charles Jackson of Indianapolis, IN, Shirley Routt of Bath County, June Collins of Lexington, Kenneth (Donna) Jackson of Lexington, Danny (Phyllis) Jackson of Flemingsburg, Gary (Patsy) Jackson of Lexington, Randall (Lynda) Jackson of Ewing, Kay (Charles) Ginn of Tollesboro, and Cindy (Tyson) Cummings of Lexington; a very special nephew, Brian 'Little' Marshall of Flemingsburg; a special great-niece, Heather 'Little Girl' Marshall of Flemingsburg; a special great-nephew, Dylan 'Little Boy' Marshall of Flemingsburg; and several other nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Timmy Jackson.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at the Carpenter-Fritz & Vice Funeral Home with Bro. Randall Jackson and Bro. Tyson Cummings officiating. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Monday, November 10th at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fleming County Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Shane Jackson, Ryan Jackson, Travis Jackson, Kenny Marshall, Brian Marshall, Dylan Marshall, Adam Cummings, and Randall Thomas Jackson. Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Jackson and Nicholas Jackson.
