Nancy Vice

Nancy Vice, 84, of Flemingsburg, widow of Tilford Estill Vice, Jr., passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Fleming County Hospital. Born in Fleming County on November 8, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Loren and Lois Walton Rawlings. Nancy was a former Nursery School teacher at Flemingsburg Christian Church, where she was a member, and will always be lovingly known to many people as Nan Naw. Nancy was an avid quilter and was a former member of the Fleming County Quilters Club. She was also a member of the local American Legion and VFW Womens Auxiliary. Nancy was a wonderful cook and always enjoyed a good meal. She will be remembered for wanting to help others and for her love of children, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by: her children, Linda (Ronnie) Bramel of Flemingsburg, Jeff (Debbie) Vice of Flemingsburg, and Marty (Carrie) Vice of Shepherdsville, KY; grandchildren, Ashley (Kim) Bramel of Flemingsburg, Molly Vice of Nashville, TN, Hailee (Jeff) Boggs of Owingsville, KY, Ben (Hazelee) Vice of London, KY, Ellen (Ryan) White of Liberty, KY, Bailey Vice of New Albany, IN, and Noah Vice of Shepherdsville, KY; great-grandchildren, Caroline Vice, Adam Bramel, Aubrey Bramel, and Riley Boggs; a sister, Kathryn Hall of Atlanta, GA; and special niece and nephew, Tracye Hall and Taylor (Jodi) Hall, both of Atlanta, GA. Funeral services will be 4:00 pm Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the Flemingsburg Baptist Church located at 1856 Elizaville Rd., officiated by Rev. Tracy R. Parker and Jim Rawlings. Visitation will be 1-4pm Saturday at the Flemingsburg Baptist Church. Burial will be in Hillsboro Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Marty Vice, Ashley Bramel, Ben Vice, Bailey Vice, Noah Vice, Adam Bramel, Taylor Hall, Jeff Boggs, and Ryan White. Honorary pallbearers will be Hailee Boggs, Molly Vice, Ellen White, Aubrey Bramel, Tracye Hall, Hazelee Vice, Kim Bramel, Riley Boggs, and Caroline Vice. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Flemingsburg Christian Church, 201 E. Water St., Flemingsburg, KY 41041. Funeral arrangements are in care of Carpenter-Fritz & Vice Funeral Home.
