Nancy Davis

Nancy E. Davis, 91, of Cowan, widow of Calvin Davis, passed away Friday, May 27, 2016 at Fleming County Hospital. Born in Beckley, WV, she was the daughter of the late Pearl Ann Quesenberry. Nancy attended the Church of God in Jackson, OH. She loved to read and work word-search puzzles, and she also loved to watch Gunsmoke, and Walker Texas Ranger. She is survived by: three sons, James Mahlon Christian of Staton, VA, Andrew Joseph (Becky) Christian of Richmond, VA, and Wayne Jackson (Sherry) Christian of Jackson, OH; a daughter, Cynthia Ann Duhl of Cowan; eleven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by: a son, William Christian; and several siblings. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at the Carpenter-Fritz & Vice Funeral Home officiated by Pastor Doug Baxter. Visitation will be 11am -' 1pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
