MiMi Perry

MiMi Dell Perry, age 66 of Hillsboro, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, with her family by her side. Born on March 23, 1952 in Mt. Sterling, she was a daughter of Louise Bowles Perry of Mt. Sterling and the late Harold "Tobe" Perry. A lifelong farmer, MiMi Dell loved to hunt, fish and spend time with her family. She is survived by: her three children, Melissa Burkhart (Mark Pence) of Morehead, Rocky Perry (Helen Rowe) of Flemingsburg, and Sonya Perry (Hector Bustos) of Flemingsburg; grandchildren, Tavon Perry, Rosa Bustos, Ashley Burkhart, Amanda Burkhart, Christa Treadway, Courtney Hurst, Brittany Perry, Corrie Perry, and Joshua Perry; numerous great-grandchildren; a sister, Linda (Glendale) Adams; and a brother, Carl "Boo" (Lisa) Perry. Besides her father, she was preceded in death by: two brothers, Jimmy and Harold "Rocky" Perry; a sister, Sue Ann Wilson; and a son, Buford Allen Perry. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Monday, November 26, 2018 in the chapel of Carpenter-Fritz & Vice Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Gail Skaggs. Visitation will be 11am-1pm Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Longview Cemetery in Bethel. Pallbearers will be Virgil Hurst, Doodle Dailey, William Adkins, Braxton Upthegrove, Joshua Perry, Scotty Bumgardner, and Jimmy Perry.
