Mildred Earlywine Doyle, age 86 of Flemingsburg, beloved wife of George E. Doyle, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, October 2, 2019. Born on May 17, 1933 in Fleming County, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Della E. Tackett Earlywine. Millie was a homemaker and a member of the Flemingsburg Baptist Church. A very hard worker throughout her life, Millie took great pride in keeping her house and yard immaculate at all times. She was also a wonderful cook and loved spending time with her sisters. Besides her husband of 68 years, she is survived by: two sons, Jackie Allen (Brenda) Doyle of Flemingsburg, and Timothy Wayne Doyle of Cincinnati; two grandchildren, Tony Doyle of Williamstown, KY, and Judy Terrill of Flemingsburg; four great-grandchildren, Scott Terrill of Lexington, Shayla Terrill of Flemingsburg, Jordan Terrill of Paris, and Olivia Grace Doyle of Williamstown; six sisters, Christine Knopp of Indiana, Edith Kearns of Flemingsburg, Lillian Davis of Georgia, Shirley (Ewell) Vice of Flemingsburg, Norma Schultz of Indiana, and Sue (Kenny) Lee of Flemingsburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Wilson, Dick, and Sam Earlywine. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday, October 5, 2019 at the Flemingsburg Baptist Church (1856 Elizaville Rd., Flemingsburg) officiated by Pastor Larry Brown and Bro. Tom Mitchell. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Friday, October 4th at the Flemingsburg Baptist Church. Burial will be in Elizaville Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to a charity of one’s choice. Funeral arrangements are in care of Carpenter-Fritz & Vice Funeral Home.
