Melissa Hardin

Melissa Jean Hardin, 46, beloved wife of John Wesley Hardin, passed away peacefully, with her family by her side on Sunday, November 1, 2015. Born November 24, 1968 in Maysville, she was the daughter of Melvin and Janet Shoemaker Planck of Fleming County. A 1986 graduate of Fleming County High School, Melissa was a homemaker, a loving mother and devoted wife. Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by: a daughter, Sydnee Cheyenne Hardin; a son, Nicholas Kaine Hardin; and two brothers, Dan Planck of Xenia, OH, and Mike Planck of Flemingsburg. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Thursday, November 5, 2015 at the Carpenter-Fritz & Vice Funeral Home officiated by Bro. James Hickerson. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Wednesday, November 4th at the funeral home. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery.
