Martha Money, 69, of Ewing, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Hospice of Hope at Kenton Pointe in Maysville. Born March 20, 1948 in Maysville, Martha was a daughter of the late Gene and Ruby Workman Money. After high school, she attended the University of Kentucky and Eastern Kentucky University. Martha managed a horse farm in Lexington for many years and upon her return to Fleming County, resumed her farming skills as well as love her for animals. Her love for equine started when she was seven years old and brought her to showing horses into her adult years. Later in life, Martha also did local landscaping for many in the community. Martha was a faithful member of Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church, the church she loved so dearly as well as her church family. She is survived by: her sister, Carol Gast of Flemingsburg; nephew, Keith Gast of Fleming County; niece, Mendy (Jamey) High of Flemingsburg; great-nephews and great-nieces,Tyler Gast of Fleming County, Jordan Gast of Ohio, Hunter High of Flemingsburg, and Hanley High of Flemingsburg; as well as numerous friends and her church family. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at the Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church officiated by Pastor Greg Grimes. Visitation will be 11am-1pm Wednesday at the church.
