Marie Turner

Marie Turner, 81, of Flemingsburg, widow of Kenneth Turner, passed away Monday, December 9, 2013 at Fleming County Hospital. Born February 2, 1932 in Elliott County, she was the daughter of the late Glen and Vesta Conley Lewis. Marie was a retired inspector from Randall Textron. She is survived by: a son, Duane Turner of Flemingsburg; a daughter, Peggy (Rick) Hazelrigg of Flemingsburg; four grandchildren, Leslie Turner (Jason Irvin) of Danville, Kasey (Billy) McCowan of Danville, Heath (Shannon) Hazelrigg of Flemingsburg, and Heather Hazelrigg of Flemingsburg; four great-grandchildren, Hadlee, Dexton, Verity, and Lennon Hazelrigg; and a very special sister, Maggie (Larry) Gray of Tipp City, OH. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: a brother, Clell Lewis; and a sister, Ann Groves. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Denton-Workman Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Wednesday, November 11th at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fleming County Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rick Hazelrigg, Heath Hazelrigg, Danny Shrout, Stevie Adams, Mike Colgan, Malcolm Cassidy, Raymond Pollitt, and Terry Gray. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Fleming County Adult Day Care In Memory of Marie Turner, 203 High St., Flemingsburg, KY 41041.
