Larry D. Peck, 63, of Flemingsburg, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at his residence. Born August 4, 1954 in Maysville, he was a son of the late James David Peck and Mamie Williams Peck. Larry was a former bull-hauler who loved his children and grandchildren. He was also an avid coin collector, gun enthusiast, and he loved farming before his disability. Larry was also an excellent cook and had a "green thumb" that could grow anything. He was baptized in the Hilltop Christian Church. Larry is survived by: three children, Josh (Jessica) Peck of Harrodsburg, Corey (Karissa) Peck of Harrodsburg, and Sarah Peck (Zach) Grooms of Ewing; grandchildren, Ava Emmons, Lance Peck, Carter Peck, James Peck, Shelby Peck, Clayton Peck, Isaac Peck, and Maveric Grooms; a sister, Patsy (Donnie) Story of Flemingsburg; two brothers, James (Sheila) Peck of Ewing, and Daniel (Braides) Peck of Fleming County; nephews, J.D. Peck, Brian Story, David Story, and Tyler Story; and nieces, Katie Adamson, Kendra Ackerman, Amber Meadows, and Kayla Kegley. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Nicholas Peck. A memorial service will be held 4:00 pm Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Carpenter-Fritz & Vice Funeral Home officiated by Bro. Billy D. Harmon. Visitation will be 2-4pm Saturday at the funeral home.
