Keith Harmon

Keith Patton Harmon, 58, of Flemingsburg, husband of Missy Harmon, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at his residence after a long and courageous battle with his illness. Born November 21, 1955 in Maysville, he was the son of the late Kenneth Paul and Christine Sparks Harmon.

A member of Tilton Christian Church, Keith was a rural mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service as well as the owner of Poured Walls, Inc. and Southside Storage. He was an avid golfer, loved cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats, and enjoyed deer hunting, but most of all, Keith loved spending time with his family going camping and boating on CaveRun Lake. He coached all three of his sons in Fleming County Little League Baseball the entire time they played Little League. Keith will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.

Besides his wife, he is survived by: three sons, Derek (Bethany Price) Harmon, Blake (Betsy) Harmon, and Daniel Harmon, all of Fleming County; a granddaughter, Claire Harmon; a brother, Garey (Cyndy) Harmon of Tilton; two sisters, Paula (Curtis) Hawkins of Tilton, and Lisa (Phillip) Wagoner of Flemingsburg; brother-in-law, Tom (Darlene) Fannin of Dayton, OH; sister-in-law, Bonnie (Bill) Kreitzer of Dayton, OH; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Saturday, August 16, 2014 at the Carpenter-Fritz & Vice Funeral Home officiated by Pastor Jim Wilson. Visitation will be 5-9 pm Friday, August 15th at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fleming County Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Randy Earlywine, Jeff Donovan, Barry Sloas, Curtis Hawkins, Phillip Wagoner, and Dustin Hawkins. Memorials are suggested to the Cancer Care Club, P.O.
