Joseph G. Graves, 74, of Maysville and formerly of Flemingsburg, passed away Friday, October 30, 2015 at Meadowview Regional Medical Center. He was born October 18, 1941 in Bracken County, a son of the late George and Oney Mae Cooper Graves. Joseph was a retired steel worker with the Bucyrus Erie Crane Company and he was also a very talented woodworker. He is survived by: a daughter, Nita (Ryan) Barger of Russellville, OH; step-daughters, Robin (Kreager) Powers of Colorado Springs, CO, Rhonda (Alan) Crawford of Evansville, IN, Rita (Bryan) Butch of Jacksonville, FL, and Snobia (Jesse) Harn of Jacksonville, TX; step-sons, John (Lisa) Jeffries of Jacksonville, TX, and Harvey Jeffries of Jacksonville, TX; and numerous grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by: his first wife, Anna Lou Hanselman; second wife, Edna Lou Graves; two daughters, Jennifer Kay Graves and Rita Jo Graves; a son, Randell Alan Graves; two sisters; and a brother. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, November 7, 2015 at the Carpenter-Fritz & Vice Funeral Home. Visitation will be 12:00-2:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
