Joe Harvey Denton, 49 of Foxport, passed away Saturday at his home. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio a son of Judith Dillon Denton and the late Joe D. Denton.
Joe was a graduate of Fleming County High School and Sullivan University in Louisville. He attended the Foxport Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with his dog Taz, being outdoors fishing and riding his A.T.V. Joe had worked as a draftsman designer.
Survivors include his mother Judith Dillon Denton of Flemingsburg. Two sisters; Libby (Chris) Cannon of Flemingsburg and Robyn (Jim Scott) Chandler of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. Also, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
A public visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November, 10, 2020 at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Flemingsburg.
Private services and burial with Pastor Harry Meadows officiating will be in the Elizaville Cemetery.
Family and friends will serve as pall bearers.
Contributions are suggested to the Flemingsburg Christian Church, 201 East Water Street, Flemingsburg, Kentucky 41041.
COVID-19 regulations, which have been set by the state must be followed.
