Jerry Workman, Sr.

Jerry B. Workman Sr., 74, of Brooksville, went home to be with the Lord at 5:35 pm at the Care Center at Kenton Pointe in Maysville on Saturday, October 4, 2014. He was born on February 18, 1940 in Mt. Olivet.

He was preceded in death by: his sister, Joanne Burchett; parents Lester and Elsie Workman; and his little brother, Danny Workman. He is survived by: his wife of 31 years, Donna L. Workman; five children, Kimberly Combess, JB Workman Jr., Gary Lee Workman, Marcie Workman Freeman, and Greg Workman; two step-children, Cindy Shelton and Jim Vice; two sisters, Barbara Bolar and Judy Workman; a brother, Nick Workman; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, October 9, 2014 at the Carpenter-Fritz & Vice Funeral Home in Flemingsburg with Pastor Doug Tucker and Pastor Jeremiah Hansen officiating. Visitation will be 12 pm to 2 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fleming County Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the New Life Fellowship Church, 2360 Mt.
