Henry 'Hal' Graf, 76, of Flemingsburg, husband of 49 years to Joyce McKee Graf, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Hospice of Hope at Kenton Pointe in Maysville. Hal was born July 11, 1938 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Henry Earl and Marcella Mary Preusch Graf.
A member of Flemingsburg Christian Church, Hal retired from U.S. Shoe in 1997 as a foreman after many years service. After retirement, Hal worked part time for several years at the Denton-Workman Funeral Home which is now known as Carpenter-Fritz & Vice Funeral Home. Hal was very enamored with covered bridges and the outdoors, and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his son. Besides his wife, he is survived by: three children, Daniel Lee (Jodie) Graf of Illinois, Cherie Kay (David) McCane of Winchester, and Michael Graf of Winchester; a granddaughter, Courtney Denee McCane also of Winchester. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Louis Graf.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the Carpenter-Fritz & Vice Funeral Home officiated by the Rev. Peter Morgan. Visitation will be 10:00 am to 1:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fleming County Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Shane Saunders, Shawn Saunders, Zeb Hart, Boone Hart, Michael Graf, and Courtney McCane. Memorials are suggested to the Flemingsburg Christian Church, 201 E.
