Helen Eldridge

Helen Kearns Eldridge, 91, died peacefully Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Sayre Christian Village Nursing Home in Lexington. She was the widow of Clarence Eldridge and mother of Billie Alexander (Thomas) Arnold of Lexington. Mrs. Eldridge was born December 26, 1921 in Mason County to the late Mamie Earlywine and Jessie Kearns. She was preceded in death by: a brother, Orville Kearns; and a sister, Naomi Blythe. In addition to her daughter, she is survived by: two grandsons, Michael (Deborah) Arnold of Augusta, GA, and David Arnold of Lexington; two nephews, Gene Blythe of Lilburn, GA, and Dan Kearns of Fleming County; and two step-sons, Don (Martha) Eldridge and Larry (Faye) Eldridge, both of Fleming County. Funeral services will be 2:30 pm Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Denton-Workman Funeral Home with Rev. Norman Wasson officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 pm until the hour of service Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Fleming County Cemetery.
