Hattie Hardy

Mrs. Hattie Frances Vice Hardy, 66, of Bluebank, passed away Friday morning, September 19, 2014 at her home after an extended illness. She was born in Mayslick, KY on August 16, 1948, the daughter of the late Obert and Mary Vice.

Mrs. Hardy was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was a longtime member of the Assembly of God in Flemingsburg. She took great pride in her grandchildren and serving the Lord. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pastor William 'Bill' Hardy; a son, Lathen Hardy; two sisters, Sarah Vice and Irene King; and four brothers, Charles Vice, James Vice, Lowell Vice, and Marion 'Fuzzy' Vice.

Survivors include; three sons, Terry Hardy of Bluebank, Jeff Hardy of Bluebank, and Galen (Kayla) Hardy of Winchester; one sister, Lorene (Bobby) Bishop of Elizaville; and three brothers, Obert (Peggy) Vice of Elizaville, Edward (Beatrice) Vice of Bluebank, and Frank (Carolyn) Vice of Elizaville; three grandchildren, Warren Hardy, Breanna Hardy, and Kailyn Hardy; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at the Carpenter-Fritz & Vice Funeral Home with Pastor Anthony Mullins and Pastor Larry Joseph officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Monday, September 22nd at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Elizaville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Warren Hardy, Troy Ratliff, Anthony Earlywine, Jordan Hickerson, Mike Gooding, and Fred Muse. Honorary Pallbearers will be Breanna Hardy, Kailyn Hardy, Dawn Vice, Sandy Vice, Amanda Henry, George Yates, and Arlene Yates. Condolences may be made at www.carpenterfritzvicefh.com
