Glenda Fearin Marshall Flack was unexpectedly called home to Heaven on September 18th, 2018 in Titusville, FL with her loving husband Barry Joe Flack by her side. Glenda made an early appearance and was born July 31, 1948 as the first child of Robert and Thelma (Pickle) Marshall. She was born in Maysville, KY. Anyone who had ever had the opportunity to meet Glenda would soon realize she was a special person that you could never forget. She had a love of giving to others, and her dogs were her absolute joy. You could also find her sharing her masterpiece coloring sheets and hundreds of Christmas cards with others. This was her way of sharing the love of Jesus. She was a charter member of the Fleming County Republican Women's Club in Flemingsburg, KY. She was a current member of Temple Baptist Church in Titusville, FL, and formally a long time member of the Beechburg Christian Holiness Church in Beechburg, KY. In addition to her husband, she is survived by son, Rob (Kim) Prater, granddaughter, Emily Prater of Beechburg, KY, and grandson, Carson Prater, of Kingstree, SC. Son, Kelly Prater and stepson Chris Flack of Maysville, KY. Brothers, Phillip (Renee) Marshall and Chuck (Nancy) Marshall, of Beechburg, KY. Sisters, Theresa Marshall, of Beechburg, KY, Carla (Chris) Sims, of Oviedo, FL and Sheila (John) Lamb, of Flemingsburg, KY. Brothers in law, Kenny Flack, Tim (Judy) Flack. Sisters in law, Emily (Phillip) Williamson and Elaine Gardner. She was "Nanny" to Olivia "Miss O" Sims, and Leah Beth Sims. "Gibbles" to Sarah & Tyler Marshall. Aunt to Carrie Hunt, Alicia Arrasmith, Lindsay Phillips, Darrin Payne, Tracy Payne, and several great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her beloved dogs, Mazie Mae, Malachi, and Mariah Jo who brought her much love, comfort, and conversation. Special friends, Leslie & Donna Yazell of Paris, KY. Larry & Barb Dearing, of Flemingsburg, KY. John, Dannie, & Landon Kuezel of Mims, FL. She was proceeded in death by her parents, sister Martha Jones, step son Stephen Flack, and Father and Mother in law, Emery & Thelma Flack. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, October 6, 2018 at the Beechburg Christian Holiness Church officiated by Bro. Lonnie Eden and Sister Sheila McGlone. Burial of cremains will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will be 10am-12pm Saturday at the church.. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Cancer Care Club, 353 East Water St. Flemingsburg KY 41041 or Temple Baptist Christian School, 1400 US-1 Titusville FL 32796. Local final arrangements are in care of Carpenter-Fritz & Vice Funeral Home.
