Gladys Reynolds

Gladys Marie Reynolds, 92, of Hilltop, KY, died Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Fleming County Hospital. She was born on December 29, 1922 in Mason County to the late Garcia Hamm and Oda Mae Mineer Hamm. She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Reynolds in 2012; three brothers, Ollie, Homan, and Eugene Hamm; two sisters, Lena Bickley, and Helen Stamm.

A member of Battle Run Christian Church, Gladys was a homemaker and loved to cook and bake, especially for work hands. She would put on a white tablecloth and make homemade breads and desserts and always say they worked hard. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Rawlings and son-in-law, Pete Rawlings, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Saturday, January 3, 2015 at the Carpenter-Fritz & Vice Funeral Home officiated by Bro. Michael Burnett. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Donnie Duncan, Dale Eddington, Don Overley, Brandon Overley, Scotty Stamm, and Pete Rawlings. Honorary pallbearers will be Tom Roe, Tate Meade, Marcus Florence Sr., and Donnie Carpenter.
