Everett Hatfield, Jr.

Everett Hatfield, Jr., 68, of Carlisle, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at his residence. He was the widower of Lucy Della Hatfield who passed away May 12, 2017. Everett was born in Maysville on October 31, 1948, a son of the late Everett Lee and Ada Purcell Hatfield. Everett was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He is survived by: a brother, Delbert W. (Wilma) Hatfield of Aberdeen, OH; a sister, Christine Purcell of Paris; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, August 25, 2017 at Fleming County Cemetery with Military Funeral Honors performed by the W.N. Fant American Legion Post #5 and Franklin Sousley VFW Post #1834. No visitation is planned. Arrangements are in the care of Carpenter-Fritz & Vice Funeral Home.
