Emory Fields, Jr.

Emory G. Fields, Jr., age 70, of Ewing, passed away Friday, September 25, 2015 at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington. He was born on May 14, 1945 in Maysville to the late Lyda Gladys McCord Fields and the late Emory G. Fields, Sr. Emory was a retired minister and a Methodist Conference Member, as well as an auto mechanic for 50 years. He is survived by: a daughter, Dorothy C. Hamilton of Fleming County; two grandchildren, Larry Lee (Sara) Hamilton, Jr. of Maysville, and Frances Dale Zornes of Fleming County; a great-granddaughter, Katelyn Marie Zornes; and companion, Martha Leonard of Ewing. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, October 3, 2015 at the Mt. Tabor Cemetery. No visitation is planned. Arrangements are in care of the Carpenter-Fritz & Vice Funeral Home.
