Edna Conrad Marshall, 92, left this world to be with her Lord at Hospice of Hope Care Center at Kenton Pointe in Maysville on Friday, January 5, 2018. Mrs. Marshall is the daughter of the late Douglas and Hattie Hinton Conrad. She was a member of the Ramey's Chapel Church. She worked at Jockey Inc. then went on to the U.S. Shoe Factory for 27 years. After a short retirement, she went to work for her in-laws at Atkinson Florist in Morehead for over 21 years where she was known as "Aunt Edna". She finally retired at the ripe age of 91. She is well known for her baking and cooking. One of her Red Velvet cakes sold at church auction for a total of $500. Beta Sigma Phi named her "Lady of the Year" in 2008. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband of 57 years, Johnnie Marshall; two daughters, Teresa Strode, and Judy Stephens; a granddaughter, Stephanie Marshall; her brother, Everett Conrad; and a son-in-law, Alvin Strode who called her "Eddy". She is survived by: her son, Garey Marshall; five grandchildren, Michele Strode, Rodney (Tabitha) Marshall, Jeff (Angie) Stephens, John (Laura) Marshall, and Jill (Mike) Vice; six great-grandchildren, Shelby Gay, Josie Marshall, Morgan and Jordan Stephens, Madigan Marshall, and Coltan Vice; four step-great-grandchildren, Caleb Manning, Braxton Ellis, and Canon and KenadyVice; as well as many nieces and nephews; and three sisters-in-law, Sada Ravenscraft, Marian Marshall, and Doris Conrad. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Carpenter-Fritz & Vice Funeral Home officiated by Bro. Jesse Hickerson, Jr. Visitation will be 6-9 pm Tuesday, January 9th at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rodney Marshall, Jeff Stephens, John Marshall, B.J.
