Donald Voyles

Donald "Don" T. Voyles, 60, of Mason County, husband of forty years to Joann Voyles, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Meadowview Regional Hospital in Maysville. Born October 5, 1957 in Mountain View, MO, he was a son of Cora Ann Townsend Voyles of Winona, MO and the late Buddy Truman Voyles. Don was a retired heavy equipment operator with Carmeuse Lime and had worked for DRAVO for over thirty years. In his spare time, Don loved to hunt and work on cars, but most of all, he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by: a son, Nicholas Robert (Shannon) Voyles of Tollesboro; a daughter, Brandy (Stephen) Sutton of Mayslick; grandchildren, Allison Paige Voyles, Trenton Cole Voyles, Hailey Jo Sutton, and Andrew Thomas Sutton; a brother, Gregory L. (Regina) Voyles of Winona, MO; a sister, Kathy (Dean) Holloway of Flemingsburg, KY; and numerous nieces, nephews, and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. A visitation will be held from 2-4 pm Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the Carpenter-Fritz & Vice Funeral Home in Flemingsburg. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at the Duncan Funeral Home in Winona, MO, with visitation from 11am-1pm Tuesday, January 2nd at the Duncan Funeral Home in Winona. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Birchtree, MO.
