Dennis 'Mac' Gulley, 75, of Flemingsburg, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Pioneer Trace Nursing Home. Born April 9, 1942 in Fleming County, he was a son of the late U.A. And Sally Stacy Gulley. Mac was a retired construction worker having owned Gulley's Construction in Yellow Springs, OH for twelve years, and worked for Packs Construction for five years.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Gulley, Angel Gulley, Staci Gulley, Hank Gifford, and Lori Collins, all of Ohio; grandchildren, Amber, Jesse, Tristan, Kristina, and Michael (Nicole) all of Ohio, and Nicholas and Elijah of Arkansas; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Bernie Story of Fleming County; and two special nephews, Jimmy Ray Runyon, and Gary Miller. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by nine siblings, Brooks Gulley, Jess Willard Gulley, Opal Gulley Conrad, Earl Gulley, Ellen Allen, R.C. Gulley, Gene Gulley, Thelma Gulley Runyon, and Ruby Gulley Muse.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Sunday, May 28, 2017 at Carpenter-Fritz & Vice Funeral Home officiated by Bro. Doug Reeves. Visitation will be 12-2pm Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Muses Mills Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Michael Payne, Brian Gulley, Wes Story, Joe Story, Rick Edmond, and Gary Miller. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Dickson, Scott Hilterbrand, Dennis Muse, Shane Story, and Jimmy Ray Runyon.
