Deedee Townsend

Deedee Kaye Bodenmiller Townsend, 61, of Sidney, Ohio passed away Friday, December 2, 2022, at the Fleming County Hospital in Flemingsburg, Kentucky after a brief illness. She was born on February 24, 1961, in Sidney, Ohio to the late Richard and Theresia Pitts Bodenmiller.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Steven Bodenmiller and an infant sister.

Deedee was a retired Customer Service Representative and attended the Sharkey Baptist Church in Rowan County. She enjoyed reading, traveling and bowling. She was a member of a bowling league for many years in Sidney.

Survivors include her husband, Billy Townsend. Two daughters, Amber (Adam) Fishel and Jennifer Herbert all of Sidney, Ohio. One brother Scott (Nell) Bodenmiller of Maplewood, Ohio, one sister, Debbie Bodenmiller of Sidney.  Grandchildren, Kira (Preston) Kinnett, Kaitlyn Fishel, Autumn Pryor, Isaac Fishel, Alayna Pryor, Emma Fishel and Kayden Herbert. Also, several other relatives and friends who will miss her too.

Memorial services will be conducted in Sidney, Ohio and will be announced later by the family.
