Deborah Waggoner

Deborah J. Waggoner, 62 of Maysville, Kentucky passed away Sunday evening, May 9, 2021 at her home in Maysville after an extended illness. She was born in Lisbon, Ohio on October 15, 1958 a daughter of Elsie Davis Duncan and the late Harold Duncan.

Deborah was a teachers aide at Flemingsburg Elementary School where she had worked for over twenty five years. She was a graduate of Kentucky Christian College in Grayson, Kentucky where she earned a Bachelors of Arts degree. She was a member of the Maysville Church of Christ and enjoyed sewing, cooking, drawing, flowers, traveling and spending time with her family. She enjoyed volunteering at the Mason County Cares Food Bank and providing flowers for her church.

Survivors include her husband, David A. Waggoner, her mother, Elsie Davis Duncan of Salineville, Ohio. Two daughters; Amanda Rae (Keith) Mason of Stanton, Kentucky, Alison (Eric Logan) Jackson of Wallingford, Kentucky. Two sisters; Lisa (Jeff) McCourt of Salineville, Ohio and Carolyn (David) Price of Carrollton, Ohio. Eight grandchildren; Shane, J. D., Katie, Alayna, Cole, Levi, Alissa and Taylor. One great-grandchild, Cora.  Also four nephews, one niece and one great niece.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 13, 2021 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Flemingsburg with Brother Layne Wagner officiating.

Burial will follow in the Wedonia Cemetery

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Flemingsburg is after 6:00 p.m. Wednesday.

Pall bearers will be Shane Vice, J. D. Hester, Tommy Hagel, Keith Mason, Eric Logan, Jimmie David, Dawson Wagner and Josh Hamm. Honorary pall bearers will be Cole Logan and Levi Logan.
