Dawn Throckmorton

Dawn M. Breeze Throckmorton, 62, wife of Kenneth F. Throckmorton, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2014 at her residence. Born in Mason County on December 11, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Russell J. and Beulah Lee Barnett Hampton.

Dawn was a 1969 graduate of Tollesboro High School where she was a cheerleader, and she attended Sardis Methodist Church. Dawn loved watching UK Basketball, playing cards, and going to cruise in car shows, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Besides her husband, she is survived by: a daughter, Kim Breeze (Robert Conners) of Flemingsburg; a son, Bill Russell (Casey) Breeze of Flemingsburg; a step-son, Kenny W. (Karen) Throckmorton of Lewisburg; two step-grandchildren, Nathan and William Throckmorton; her twin sister, Donna Rankin of Flemingsburg; niece, Michelle (Anthony) Marshall of Fleming County; and 'Nanny's Girl', Taylor Marshall.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, October 25, 2014 at the Carpenter-Fritz & Vice Funeral Home officiated by the Rev. Gail Skaggs. Visitation is Private. Burial will be in the Elizaville Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Aaron Withrow, Jason Florence, Anthony Marshall, Robert Conners, Drew Watson, and Bill Russell Breeze.
