Danny Smith

Danny Ray Smith, 67, of Mayslick, Kentucky passed away Wednesday September 21, 2022, at St. Joseph Hospital Main, in Lexington, Kentucky.

He was born in Mason County, Kentucky to the late James Burton and Eva Louise Allen Burton.

Danny enjoyed fishing, tinkering with things outside, and enjoyed watching the Andy Griffith Show, he also enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers; Ernest Burton and Gene Burton, one sister; Bonnie Smith and one nephew, Ronnie Michael Smith.

Survivors include two daughters: Danielle (Teri Wright) Smith and Theresa Torres both of Flemingsburg, Kentucky. One stepson; Jeffrey Riggs of Flemingsburg. One brother; Ronnie Smith (Patricia) of Fleming County. One sister; Penny (Jeremy) Highfield of Flemingsburg. two grandchildren; Mya Titus and Shayla McGlone. Two nephews; Shawn Tumey and Shannon Pitts. One niece, Cassondra Weisner (Adam).  Also, his two special fur babies, Bella and Annie.

Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Monday, September 26, 2022, in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Flemingsburg with Rev. Greg Grimes officiating.

Burial will follow in the Elizaville Cemetery.

Visitation is after 12:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.

Casket Bearers will be Jeffrey Riggs, Jeremy Highfield, Shannon Pitts, Ronnie Smith, Danielle Smith, and Bertin Torres.
