Charles Dugan

Charles Lewis Dugan, Sr. 91 of Flemingsburg, Kentucky passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020 at the Pioneer Trace Nursing Home in Flemingsburg.

He was born at Washington in Mason County, Kentucky on October 8, 1929 to the late Calvin and Sadie Long Dugan.

Mr. Dugan was a retired truck driver for Moore and James  Bulk Plant in Flemingsburg. He was a member of the Victory Assembly of God and enjoyed trading in Gas Pumps, hunting, fishing, golf, working around the house, gardening and playing horseshoes. He loved baseball and was an avid University of Kentucky Basketball fan.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Margaret Carpenter Dugan. A grandson, Sean Wiley,  His siblings, James Dugan, Ernest Dugan, Lola Jane Riggs and Cecil Caskey.

Survivors include one daughter, Kimberly Ann Dugan (Jay) Planck of Flemingsburg, One son, Chuck (Sandra) Dugan of Frankfort, Kentucky. Grandchildren; Natalie (Davey) Downs, Laura Beth Rushmeyer, Kerry Cress (Joshua Hannabach), Ashley Wiley, Kaylee Dugan, Charlie Dugan, Matthew Planck and John Travis Planck. Great-grandchildren; Tyler Shortridge, Kinley Rushmeyer, Reese Hannabach and Ryland Hannabach. Siblings; Bussey Dugan, Delbert Dugan, Mary Alice Chain and Margaret Leet. Also, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted  2:00 pm Tuesday, December 29, 2020 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Flemingsburg with Brother Larry Joseph officiating. Burial will follow in the Fleming County Cemetery.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Flemingsburg is after 12 noon Tuesday.

Pall bearers will be Chuck Dugan, Jay Planck, Charles "Charlie" Dugan, III, Joshua Hannabach, John Travis Planck and Matthew Planck.
