Candace Varney

Candace 'Candi' Gail Varney & infant Waylon Jacob Varney, wife and son of Justin 'Hazy' Varney, went on to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 21, 2013. Candi was born on September 2, 1980 in Maysville, Kentucky to David and Jayne Watson. A 1998 graduate of West Carrollton High School in Ohio, Candi attended the Flemingsburg Christian Church where she was active in VBS and other church activities. Candi was a former coach for the FCHS Girls Bowling Team and a member of the PTO. She loved to go camping, fishing and four-wheeling and playing sports. Candi also loved her Harley-Davidson motorcycle and couldn't wait to go riding again. Most of all, Candi loved her family. Her life revolved around her kids and doing for them and her husband. She will be greatly missed by all. Besides her husband and parents, she leaves to cherish her memory, a son, Garrett Varney; a daughter, Alayna Varney,;grandparents, Wanda and James Doyle of Wallingford; a mother-in-law, Kitty Varney of Pikeville; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Joint funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at the Flemingsburg Christian Church officiated by Rev. Peter Morgan and Rev. Norman Wasson. Visitation will be 5-9 pm Tuesday, November 26th at the church. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Backpack Program c/o Cheap's Chevrolet, 714 W. Water St., Flemingsburg, KY 41041 or you may drop off your donation at Cheap's Chevrolet. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Denton-Workman Funeral Home.
