Billy Gene Corbin, 74, of Tilton, loving husband of 52 years to Jackie Collins Corbin, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, April 25, 2016 after a long illness. He was born on October 8, 1941 in Fleming County, a son of the late Thomas D. and Nancy Sorrell Corbin.

A lifelong farmer and dairy operator, Billy attended Tilton United Methodist Church. When he wasn't farming or milking, Billy enjoyed going to the Stockyards, and visiting with people. Besides his wife, he is survived by: two sons, David Corbin and Michael (Stacy) Corbin, both of Tilton; three grandchildren, Haley Corbin, Taylor Corbin, and Gunnar Corbin; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by: three brothers, Jumbo Corbin, Jim Corbin, and Bobby Corbin; and four sisters, Maxine Campbell, Allie Lea Emmons, Marie Vice, and Betty Jane Marshall. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Friday, April 29, 2016 at the Carpenter-Fritz & Vice Funeral Home officiated by Bro. Gaylord Gillispie and Bro. James Hickerson. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Thursday, April 28th at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Fleming County Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Carroll Vice, Marty Harmon, Bill Ramey, Kent Corbin, Darrell Emmons, Ted Allen Ramey, Shane Ramey, Jimmy Ray Corbin, Travis Earlywine, John Allison, Derek Collins, and Chase Ramey. Memorials are suggested to the Tilton United Methodist Church, c/o Rose Ann Crump, 441 Meadow Lane, Flemingsburg, KY 41041 or the Parkinson's Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018.
