Beulah Florence

Beulah A. Florence, 96, of Nepton, widow of Marcus Edward Florence Sr., to whom she was married for 75 years, passed away Friday, January 5, 2018 at the Robertson County Health Care Facility. Beulah was born on September 7, 1921 in Hillsboro, the daughter of the late William and Louise McKee Arrasmith. A retired LPN from Fleming County Hospital, she was a former member of the Fleming County Homemakers, Garden Club, and the VFW Womens Auxiliary. After she and Marcus retired, they enjoyed traveling in their later years. She is survived by: five children, Marcus G. (Sue) Florence, Jr. of Elizaville, Mary Ann Osborn of Louisville, Larry E. (Linda) Florence of Nepton, Ray Allen (Mary) Florence of Elizaville, and Carol Louise Lowe of Flemingsburg; grandchildren, Lisa Florence (Joe Trimboli) of Huntington, WV, Mark Florence of Elizaville, Michael (Mary Ann) Florence of Flemingsburg, Marsha Osborne of Louisville, William Osborn, Jr. of Louisville, Melissa (Eric) Hylander of Maysville, Jason Florence of Nepton, Chris (Lori) Florence of Flemingsburg, Carol Jean (Shawn) Jones of Salt Lick, and Eric Evans of Carlsbad, CA; and 21 great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Noble and Marie Arrasmith. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Carpenter-Fritz & Vice Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Todd Wiley. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Monday, January 8th and 7am until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Elizaville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mark Florence, Michael Florence, Eric Hylander, Chris Florence, Elzie Price, and Shawn Jones.
