Betty Honaker

Betty Jean Dickson Honaker, 81, of Flemingsburg, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington. She was born December 14, 1931 to the late Charles and Maggie Dickson.

Retired from U.S. Shoe Factory after 30 years, she loved spending time with her family. She is survived by: two sisters, Dorothy Jolly and Jewell Wade of Flemingsburg; special nephews, Mike (Tammy) Dickson of Sorrento, FL and Buddy (Diane) Wade of Paris; special nieces, Nancy (Johnson) Barnett and Darlene (Jerry Mitchell) Harding, both of Ewing; other nephews, Dale Wade, Wayne Wade, Junior Wagner, and Buck Wagner; other nieces, Brenda Argo, Norma Lakes, and Margret Ring; great-nieces, Amber Wright, Destiny Wright, and Gracie Wright; great-nepehws, LJ Barnett, Michael Barnett, and Dalton Barnett, Josh Harding and Justin Harding. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charlie Myers and Warren Honaker; a special friend, Jack Bashford; and a sister, Ida Wagner.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Denton-Workman Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Norman Wasson. Visitation will be 10:00 am until the hour of service Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mayslick Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Buddy Wade, Johnson Barnett, Michael Barnett, Josh Harding, John Barton, and Mark Snedagar. Condolences may be made at www.dentonworkman.com
