Alma "Tom" Worthington Jones

Alma "Tom" Worthington Jones, 84, of Flemingsburg, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at the Hospice of Hope Care Center in Maysville, Kentucky surrounded by her loving family.

She was born January 29, 1941 in Ewing, Kentucky a daughter of the late John Thomas "Tommy" Worthington and Leona McFarland Worthington..

Alma Tom was a member of the Foxport Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star, No. 227 of Morehead, Kentucky. She was also a volunteer at the Fleming County Senior Citizens Center. She was a Fleming County High School Graduate Class of 1959. She also worked several years at the US Shoe Factory. She enjoyed yard selling, visiting with family and friends, reading and watching hallmark movies.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Harold Jones.

Survivors include one son, Rickie D. Mineer of Flemingsburg; two daughters, Debbie Fraley (Gary) and Vickie Gray (Mark) both of Flemingsburg; one brother, Paul Rader Worthington of Mt. Olivet, Kentucky; three sisters, Priscilla Crump (Topper) of Ewing, Shirley Conner (Larry) of Winchester, Kentucky and Martha Senn of Lehigh, Utah; five grandchildren, Travis Follmer (Cathy), Dr. Brad Gray (Jennifer), Josh Gray (Kristin), Lynna Newsom (Robby) and Matthew Gray (Candice); twelve great grandchildren, Dakota Follmer, Brady Poston, Katie Newsom, Sawyer Newsom, Bailey Newsom, Skylar Carpenter, Danika Carpenter, Zayden Carpenter, Drew Gray, Ollie Gray, Emberly Gray, and Brooks Gray; one great-great grandchild, Malakai Follmer; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Monday, February 24, 2025 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Flemingsburg with Pastor Harry Meadows officiating.

Alma Tom will be laid to rest in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-8 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.

Eastern Star services will be conducted 7:30 P.M. Sunday evening at the funeral home by the Morehead Order of the Eastern Star No. 227.

Casket bearers will be Rickie Mineer, Travis Follmer, Dr. Brad Gray, Matt Gray, Josh Gray, and Brady Poston.

Honorary casket bearers will be Sawyer Newsom, Drew Gray, Brooks Gray, Bailey Newsom, Emberly Gray and Ollie Gray.
